Arriving in Montego Bay on April 26, 2025, marked the beginning of a remarkable adventure—a week-long mission dedicated to providing medical screenings and medications to the communities of Jamaica. This noble endeavor took the team to various locations, including Kingston, 9 Mile, and Port Royal, in partnership with the Bob Marley Foundation and the International Care Institute (ICI).
The team comprised a diverse group of professionals: doctors specializing in primary care, hospitalists, emergency medicine specialists, nurses, dentists, and a nurse practitioner. Among the non-healthcare volunteers were a talented photographer and a high school teacher with aspirations of attending medical school. For these dedicated volunteers, working diligently for 8-10 hours a day was no challenge, especially for those accustomed to 12-hour shifts in healthcare.

This mission was a well-organized and enriching experience, bringing together impressive intellectuals who were not only adept at their work but also knew how to enjoy themselves. The mission left an indelible mark on the hearts of both the volunteers and the communities they served, illustrating the power of service in creating a brighter, more compassionate world.
